Dr. Nate Hearne

Dr. Nate Hearne is back again for 2023! Dave Kauffman says Dr. Hearne’s keynote address is “the most powerful keynote he’s ever heard.” If you were at EDGEcon 2022 you’d likely agree. Dr Hearne’s story epitomizes what “up by the bootstraps” stands for. An educator, motivator, mentor, executive, pastor, and trainer, Dr Hearne played an important part as an assistant coach in the lives of the football players and coaches who the film, “Friday Night Lights” was all about, helping lead the Permian High School team to become National Champions in 1989 and State Champs in 1991.

Holding a doctorate of ministry, Dr. Nathanial Hearne is the President and Founder of Made Up Minds and The Euless Loaves and Fishes Foundation. Through these organizations, Dr. Hearne provides training and programs to reach at-risk youth for the purpose of strengthening character, teaching leadership skills, and increasing school attendance.
